5ball is similar to klines, but bigger (and meant for at least 1024x768 screen res.). It includes many options such as different board size, number of different colors, undo, different themes, etc. The object is to make a line of 5 like- color balls which will eliminate them from the grid. Score as much as you can before the grid fills. 3 new balls are placed randomly on the grid each time you move without making a line.
Absolute Linux is a lightweight Slackware derivative that uses an Icewm, pcmanfm, ROX-Filer, ivman, and others to create a lightweight yet easy to use distribution. Installation is text-based but simplified, and all packages are installed at once. It can run on a Pentium II and above, including SMP systems. A minimum 128MB RAM is recommended. It features ease of browsing any connected device in pcmanfm and an auto-popup menu for inserted playable media. "Restricted" codecs are available to those eligible via a root-user installer. There is a large range of software available, including OpenOffice, Mplayer, GIMP, and K3B.
FONTpage is a Python font viewing/image-generating utility. It displays system fonts and allows you to change the font size and color, background color, font face, bold, and italics. It also has the ability to input the text to be displayed, which you can choose to save as a PNG file. It is handy to view fonts and styles quickly, or to make "logo" graphics. There are source code, binary, and Slackware packages available.
GAMMApage is a program to adjust a monitor's gamma setting, either fully or by color. It is capable of setting gamma for most Linux distributions upon login, including those using ATI fglrx_xgamma. It works both for graphical logins or console logins. It only requires write access to the user's home directory, not to any system directories. It includes "preparation" tips with white and black point targets to make gamma corrections effective. This is the pumped-up, Python/GTK version of Monica.
GIMP circle brushes provides circle brushes for use as "rubber stamps" in the GIMP. They can be used with one click instead of creating outline circles by making a circle, filling with black, shrinking, and filling with white. GIMP SCRIPT-FUs for 2.6 is a collection of SCRIPT-FUs edited to work in GIMP-2.6.x. The compiler of this collection is usually not the original author for most of the scripts, but was able to tweak or get them working better in GIMP 2.6 and consolidate them in a sane menu hierarchy.
